Consultant Relations Associate – Investor Relations

A highly regarded investment firm is seeking a resourceful and analytical individual to join its Consultant Relations function, part of the broader Investor Relations team. This is an opportunity to contribute to both strategic outreach and operational execution for a team focused on engaging with investment consultants and supporting institutional fundraising efforts.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, maintain, and enhance internal data systems and reporting tools that support consultant engagement and broader investor relations functions.

Manage inbound requests from internal stakeholders and external consultant contacts with precision and professionalism.

Contribute to global business development and consultant relationship management initiatives by coordinating project deliverables and refining operational processes.

Take ownership of longer-term projects—from defining scope and objectives to allocating resources and ensuring timely execution—while liaising with stakeholders across investor relations, communications, and operations.

Build expertise across the firm’s investment offerings, capital markets, and key financial concepts to effectively support outreach efforts.

Over time, gain a deep understanding of how investment consultants operate, their influence on institutional investors, and how best to position the firm within that ecosystem.
Candidate Profile

A bachelor’s degree and a track record of strong academic and professional performance are essential.

One to three years of relevant experience in investment management, ideally with exposure to institutional sales, marketing, or client operations.

Previous interaction with or knowledge of investment consultants is advantageous but not mandatory.

Solid Excel skills are required; advanced proficiency is a plus.

Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities, along with a sharp attention to detail and an aptitude for process design and problem-solving.

Compensation and Benefits
The base salary range for this role is $130,000–$160,000. The firm also offers performance-based year-end bonuses (with a guaranteed first-year bonus), a competitive benefits package including medical coverage, 401(k) matching, wellness incentives, family-focused support, and matching for charitable contributions.
