£80k to £95k base + bonus and benefits


Are you an ambitious internal communications manager or a senior manager with experience working for investment managers, asset managers or investment banks looking for an opportunity to build and execute an internal communications strategy?


A global alternative investment manager is expanding its communications team and hiring a Senior Internal Communications Manager to create and drive internal communications.

You will join a close-knit team of high-functioning communications professionals to lead the employee comms and engagement strategy while being a reliable partner to the sustainability, people and executive teams.

The role:

  • Develop and implement a global internal communications and employee engagement strategy, advise on best practices and provide communications counsel to senior executives.

  • Daily, manage newsletters and executive communications, and support DE&I initiatives, people-focused programmes and sustainability objectives with engaging internal communications campaigns.

  • Write exceptional copy for various mediums and audiences, focusing on simplifying often complex topics into more relatable content. 

  • Own, develop, and manage existing comms channels, including SharePoint and Slack. Research and propose effective internal communications tools that support communications and business objectives.

Skills and experience:

  • 7 to 12 years of internal communications experience in an investment management, asset management or investment banking environment is essential.

  • Proven ability to provide strategic advice and tactical execution. 

  • A strong writer, well versed in ghostwriting, delivering impactful and relatable narratives & messaging.

  • Proven experience in senior stakeholder engagement and management.

  • Experience supporting DE&I, sustainability and people teams would be advantageous.
