Comms Search & Selection has been exclusively retained by UpSlide, a leading AI-powered document automation solution for Microsoft 365, to recruit their new Content Team Lead in London, who will get to work with and support a leadership team that strongly supports marketing, believes in the brand and has big ambitions to double revenue by 2027.
UpSlide’s solution helps leading firms such as KPMG, Lloyds Banking Group and Citi, automate manual, repetitive work and deliver superior, brand-consistent documents enterprise-wide.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced content leader to own strategy and execution, build and manage a talented team — focusing especially on growing UpSlide’s presence in the US — and have a meaningful impact in a company in an exciting phase of growth.
About the Role:
As the Content Team Lead, you'll:
Lead and refine brand messaging, ensuring consistency, clarity, and impact across all platforms.
Develop and oversee the content strategy from concept through to execution, personally leading on the content strategy and working with your team and network of freelancers to create engaging thought leadership pieces, blogs, reports, webinars, and other materials tailored for a financial services and professional services target audience.
Manage relationships with PR agencies to secure regular, targeted media coverage.
Drive growth in the US market by crafting content specifically tailored to American audiences, understanding regional nuances, and staying informed about industry trends.
Act as the key coordinator for major content campaigns, collaborating with sales, product, and growth marketing teams.
Manage, develop and build the content team, which currently comprises the Junior Content Specialist and freelance writers.
Supervise social media and employee advocacy initiatives, aligning content closely with overall business objectives.
Help shape the broader marketing strategy alongside the Head of Marketing and Head of Growth Marketing.
Key Experience Required:
5-8 years’ experience in content marketing or strategy within a B2B SaaS or financial services technology environment.
At least 2 years’ experience managing and mentoring content teams.
Outstanding writing and editing skills with proven experience producing high-quality content across various platforms.
Strong understanding of SEO, keyword strategies, and awareness of generative AI's role in content marketing.
Demonstrable experience in successfully developing content targeted towards the US market.
Excellent organisational and project management abilities, comfortable interacting with senior stakeholders and cross-functional teams.
Positive, proactive, and ambitious approach, keen to make an impact in a growing business.
